• Wounded Bombing raid on Abeele Aerodrome; during a night-time bombing raid on Abeele aerodrome (30th October being a full moon), four bombs were dropped, destroying two of the ‘other ranks’ huts. Four men were killed (G C Bradbury, M Davies, W E Gurnsey and E D Stimpson) and three others were injured.
