Death

  • He was acting as a guard on a light railway train consisting of engine and three cars which was travelling at about two miles an hour, when near Remy Siding Busselboom. He was riding on the bogie plate between the first and second cars and when stooping down to pull the coupling pin, slipped and fell between the trucks, being instantly killed.
  • Killed accidentally, fractured skull and severe injuries about the body.
